Unlike many sudoku books, this app takes the drudgery of putting in "pencil marks" manually and allows you to look for known patterns to eliminate possibilities. I doubt I would ever find a "sashimi swordfish" in a newspaper sudoku puzzle.

The explanations and examples are straightforward. Ive learned a lot. The range of difficulty makes it great for all level players. Unlimited ad-free puzzles on this system is worth the three bucks. Excellent app.

Free version is good but this is even better. Like the ability to input puzzles from the paper and save my eraser!

I use it every day. Only the hard moves is favorite style of play.

Excellent learning tool. Pick a style that allows clues and work thru a higher difficulty puzzle. When you get stuck,get a clue and if that is not enough, ask for more help. At any point in the puzzle, go to learning button to get a complete understanding. There are so many difficulty levels, so you can choose a level that you can solve, then move up as you get better.

I have been playing this game for a number of months. First I played the free version and then upgraded. I LOVE this game. I can play as much as I want, learn about strategies, practice games that are beyond my comfort level and enter games of my own. Also as an added benefit, I have contacted the support line three times, and my experiences have been stellar. Response time is very quick, advice is practical, and I had the feeling I was e-mailing friends. I cant say enough good things about it. Its wonderful, fun, and helps test logic.

Best Sudoku app available! I got this years ago-so did my husband. Its the only Sudoku we still play. LOVE it!

Having tried many Sudoku games, I can honestly say this one is the best! I tried the free version first and then moved on to the paid version. This was totally worth the purchase!

Title says it all!! There are many great sudoku games available, what sets this game apart, is that it can teach you to be a better sudoku solver... When asking for a "clue", you can choose to have a value given to you, see if there are errors in what you have filled in so far, or (my personal favorite), to be "walked through" the process of finding a value, or eliminating pencil marks. When I started playing a couple years ago I couldnt get above the moderate level (6 out of 13). Now Im doing Fiendish puzzles (level 11) without clues, and Im working through solution methods for level 12 (Diabolical). I hope to master the Nightmare (level13) puzzles by the end of the year...
